About Kristen:
Over the past four-decades my life has had many reincarnations.

Growing up
Born in New York, I grew up on Long Island with a passion for theatre and a random curiosity for other cultures

My Twenties
From NY I moved to Bangkok and spent the next ten years in Southeast Asia living a life of entrepreneur and entertainer.

Thirties
In my 30s I moved to the UK, did an MBA and pivoted into management consulting.

Today
At 40, I entered The Momma Era as a first-time mom to a beautiful little boy.

Our Favourite Developmental Toys and Books for a Six-Month-Old
As a first-time mom (mum), I’ve loved watching my son grow and discover the world around him. At six months old, every day seems to bring a new skill, whether it’s reaching for a toy, exploring different textures or becoming fascinated by books.
I’ve found that you don’t need an endless collection of toys to support your baby’s development. A few engaging toys, some interactive books and plenty of time playing together can go a long way.

The Baby Milestone I’ve Been Counting Down To
As my son approaches six months old, there’s one milestone I’ve been looking forward to … the possibility of getting back into regular running.

Flying Alone With a Baby? Read This First
Travelling abroad alone with a new baby can feel equal parts exciting and terrifying. What I learned very quickly is that travelling with a baby is not only possible, it can actually be far easier than we build it up to be.
If I could go back and tell myself a few things before that first trip, these would be at the top of the list.

Surviving infant vaccinations
The first time our baby had his vaccinations, it was tough. His temperature climbed all the way up to 39.2°C (102°F), and it left us feeling anxious, exhausted, and unsure if we were doing everything right. So when it came time for his second round, we wanted to approach things a little differently.and thankfully, the experience turned out to be much smoother.
